As a Research Assistant to Dr.Nikita Mundhara, I'm learning and analyzing emerging therapies and the biology of cancer in children.
As a Research Assistant, I compiled and synthesized critical content across key areas in pediatric oncology and biomedical science to support ongoing research and clinical initiatives. I prepared a comprehensive summary on the basics of chemotherapy in pediatrics, emphasizing pharmacological mechanisms, age-specific dosing considerations, and common adverse effects, ensuring alignment with standard treatment protocols.
In parallel, I consolidated essential radiotherapy notes and readings, focusing on principles of radiation physics, pediatric-specific techniques, and patient safety guidelines. To support academic and research communication, I developed a thorough overview of scientific writing practices, including manuscript structure, data presentation, and adherence to publication standards. I also summarized core concepts related to blood cells, highlighting their functions, types, and clinical relevance in diagnostic and therapeutic contexts.
Additionally, I reviewed the foundational aspects of checkpoint therapy and stem cell therapy in pediatric applications, with attention to current methodologies, therapeutic targets, and clinical outcomes. On the data side, I conducted a full data analysis, compiled a findings report, and created comprehensive data visualizations to identify key patterns and support evidence-based interpretations.
These deliverables collectively aim to enhance the quality, clarity, and impact of our ongoing pediatric research efforts.
